About us · Cedar Park, TX
Cedar Park roofing experts, and how to check that anyone is
Every roofing company in Williamson County calls itself one of the Cedar Park roofing experts, and the word costs nothing to print on a truck. So this page does two jobs: it tells you exactly who we are and what we can prove, and it gives you the checks to run on any roofer here — including us — in a state that does not license the trade at all.
- Working in Cedar Park since 2017, GAF-certified
- General liability and workers' compensation carried on every crew

Who we are
A local roofing company, not a regional operation with a Cedar Park page
We have been roofing in Cedar Park since 2017. That is not a long time by the standards of a trade where some firms measure in generations, and we are not going to inflate it. What it does mean is that we have worked through the hail seasons Cedar Park has actually had, on the neighbourhoods and the roof types that are actually here — the shake conversions in the older subdivisions, the steep-pitch two-storeys off Whitestone, the newer builds along 183A where every roof went on in the same eighteen months and is now aging at the same rate.
We are roofers in Cedar Park TX rather than a national brand with a franchise here or a storm operation that follows the weather. When a warranty question comes up in four years, the number on your paperwork will still reach us.
GAF certification
Certified for GAF shingle systems, which is what keeps a manufacturer's material warranty enforceable when the roof is installed to published spec.
Insurance on every crew
General liability and workers' compensation, with certificates available directly from the insurer rather than as a photocopy from us.
A written warranty
Two years in writing on repair work, and manufacturer warranty registration completed and handed over on replacements.
The useful part
Texas does not license roofers. Here is what to check instead.
This surprises most homeowners. There is no state roofing licence in Texas, which means anyone can print a card, buy a magnet for a truck door and call themselves an expert this afternoon. Any company showing you a "Texas roofing licence number" is showing you something that does not exist. Six checks replace the licence you cannot look up. Run them on us too.
Insurance, sent by the insurer
General liability and workers' compensation. Not a PDF the contractor emails you — a certificate sent directly from their agent or carrier, because a photocopy proves nothing about whether the policy is still in force.
Manufacturer certification for what is going on your roof
Certification is product-specific. A firm certified for one shingle line is not automatically certified for the metal system they are quoting you, and on many premium products an uncertified install voids the warranty you are paying for.
A local address that is not a PO box
After a hail event, out-of-area crews arrive in volume. The question is not whether they can do the work this month — it is whether they will be reachable when a seam opens up in year three.
The scope in writing before any money moves
Tear-off or recover, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, deck repair allowance, and both warranties. A single total with no line items cannot be compared against anything, which is usually the point.
How they handle your deductible
In Texas a contractor may not pay, waive, rebate or absorb your insurance deductible. If somebody offers to, they have just told you how they treat paperwork — on a claim filed in your name.
A job that did not go smoothly
Everyone has one. A contractor who says every project has been perfect is either very new or not being straight with you, and both answers are worth having before you sign.
How we work
Four things we hold to
We will tell you not to buy
If the roof has years left, or the damage is localised, or the honest answer is a repair rather than the replacement you were expecting, that is what the report says. We would rather lose the job than sell you one you did not need.
The inspection is free and it is yours
Written, photographed, back within 24 hours, with no obligation attached. Take it to another contractor and have them price the same scope — that is a fair comparison and we are content to be measured on it.
No door-knocking, no pressure deadlines
We do not canvass neighbourhoods after storms and we do not run prices that expire this afternoon. Material costs move on months, not hours, and urgency is a sales tool rather than a fact.
We stay in our lane on claims
We document damage, produce a scope and meet your adjuster on site. We do not negotiate or settle claims — that is a public adjuster's licensed role in Texas — and we will say so plainly rather than blur it.
We are a roofing company. We do not do general remodelling, and we are not the right call for a roof type we do not install well — if your project needs something outside what we do properly, we will say so and point you elsewhere.
We also serve one market. We are not a national operation with a Cedar Park landing page, which means our capacity is finite. In a heavy storm season we prioritise active water intrusion first — see Emergency roof repair Cedar Park TX —, and we will tell you honestly where you sit in the queue rather than promise a date we cannot hold.

Common questions
About us — straight answers
How do I know a Cedar Park roofing company is legitimate?
Texas issues no roofing licence, so there is nothing to look up. Verify insurance sent directly by the insurer rather than forwarded by the contractor, manufacturer certification for the specific system going on your roof, a real local address, the scope in writing with line items, and how they answer a question about a job that went wrong. If anyone offers to cover your deductible, that answers the whole question for you.
How long have you been roofing in Cedar Park?
Since 2017. We have deliberately not padded that with a larger "years of combined experience" figure, because those numbers are unverifiable and every company quotes one. What we can evidence is the certification, the insurance and the written warranty, and those are the things worth asking anyone for.
Do you work outside Cedar Park?
Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, Liberty Hill and the wider Williamson County and north Austin metro. Beyond that, call and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right firm for the drive or whether you are better served by someone closer to you.
Are you insured?
Yes — general liability and workers' compensation on every crew, and you should ask for certificates to be sent to you directly by our agent rather than accepting a copy from us. Ask every contractor bidding for the same thing. Workers' compensation in particular matters, because an uninsured injury on your property can become your problem.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We document damage thoroughly, produce a scope in the format adjusters expect, and meet your adjuster on site. We do not negotiate or settle the claim — that is a licensed public adjuster's role in Texas and a roofer doing it is a problem for both of us. Coverage decisions stay between you and your carrier.
What does an inspection cost?
Nothing, with no obligation and no pressure. You get a written report with photographs inside 24 hours and it is yours to keep, use for a claim, or hand to another contractor for a competing quote. That is the intended use, not a loophole.
