Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: [ DATE ]
The Cedar Park Roofing Company is committed to digital accessibility and to making our website usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We believe every property owner in Cedar Park and Williamson County should be able to learn about our roofing services, request an inspection, and reach us without barriers.
Our Conformance Goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities — including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive — and more usable for everyone. We treat WCAG 2.1 AA as our working target rather than a finished, certified state, because accessibility is something we maintain continuously as the site changes.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we work to:
- Use clear heading structure and readable, well-organized content;
- Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and background;
- Provide descriptive alternative text for images that convey meaning;
- Support keyboard navigation, with visible focus states, for people who don't use a mouse;
- Label forms clearly so they work with screen readers;
- Use responsive layouts that adapt to zoom, magnification, and different screen sizes;
- Write link text that makes sense out of context;
- Consider accessibility when we add or update pages and content.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
We aim for our website to work with current versions of widely used assistive technologies and browsers, including screen readers, screen magnification, speech-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation, on recent operating systems. If you use an older technology and encounter problems, please let us know and we'll do our best to help.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas that can fall short include older pages, PDFs or documents added before our current standards, embedded maps, and content or widgets provided by third parties (see below). We are aware that these gaps can exist and work to address them as we identify them. If you run into a barrier we haven't caught, telling us helps us fix it faster.
Third-Party Content
Some features on our site may rely on third-party tools or content — for example, embedded maps, review widgets, or form services. We don't control the accessibility of third-party platforms, but we choose tools thoughtfully and will help you get the same information another way if a third-party element creates a barrier.
Need Help or a Different Format?
If any part of this website is difficult to use, or you'd like information in a different format — such as large print, plain text, or simply over the phone — we're glad to help. The fastest way to reach a person is to call us, and we'll walk you through whatever you need, from scheduling an inspection to answering questions about your roof.

Reporting a Problem
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us:
- The web address (URL) of the page;
- A short description of the problem and what you were trying to do;
- The browser, device, and any assistive technology you were using, if you know it.
This helps us reproduce the issue and fix it. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within a reasonable time, typically within a few business days, and to provide the information or assistance you need in the meantime.
Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We review and improve the experience as we update the site and as standards and technologies evolve, and we appreciate feedback that helps us serve our community better.
